PAID INTERNSHIPS (Fall/Spring Term & Summer Term):
These positions are generally reserved for upperclassmen or those who have served as volunteer interns and sense a clear desire to explore what it means to be called to vocational, full-time ministry. Paid Internships generally consist of a 10 hour a week work schedule, weekly meetings, strategic leadership development and exploration of issues related to vocational ministry. VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIPS (Fall/Spring Term & Summer Term):
Through a 5-hour weekly commitment, Journey Interns help to lead volunteer teams, plan events, attend weekly leadership meetings, and take part in weekly strategic leadership development. (Application required)
J-GROUP LEADER (Fall/Spring Term):
These positions are generally reserved for upperclassmen who desire to help facilitate and lead our J-Groups. J-Group Leaders will commit to co-lead a weekly gathering of students. The commitment will consist of weekly leading the J-Group and participating in monthly J-Group Leader meetings. (Application required)
Every week it takes a small army to make everything work around Journey Church. There are many ways to volunteer and we need your help! Whether it’s helping with J-Groups, brewing coffee, planning big & small events, working with international students, setting up and tearing down, and welcoming newcomers. These positions do not require an application.
